This collection explores the abstract elements that transform subjects of natural environments. "All Natural Materials" is a set of reinterpretations of natural phenomena -- landscape, stone, plant details. These images are all natural in origin, but through changes of perspective and/or later digital manipulations (including alterations of color, motion, texture and light), new visions emerge to transform the viewer's conceptions of the natural world. The form of a tree or chunk of ice can suggest human or architectural form; tree bark becomes a wall of peeling paint; organic decay blossoms as an interactive garden; a forest becomes a sea of dreams. Realities become abstractions; transformations are only limited by imagination.
